Raymond J. Russell, age 57, died suddenly Monday, April 21, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 6, 1957 to Raymond F. and Barbara J. (Smith) Russell. After graduating from Brookhaven High School, Ray joined the Marine Corp. When he was discharged from the Marine Corp he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and became an Iron Worker for Local #172. Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond. He is survived by his mother, Barbara J. Russell; siblings, Ricky (Dee), Brenda, Roscoe (Joyce), Sharon (Garry) Prater, Laurie and Lillian (Dan Carpenter) Russell; along with numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Kandy Breidenbach. A funeral service will be held 1pm, Friday, April 25, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends from 11am until the time of the service. Interment to follow the service at Kingwood Memorial Park.
