Rea J. Rankin

Rea J. (Pennington) Rankin, age 64 of Grove City, died Saturday, February 18, 2017. Rea was employed by Sears Distribution for 20 years and for the last 20 years she has been employed by McDonald’s Accounting Services. She helped with the River Bend Raiders Football team as well as Franklin Heights High School Band. Her grandkids were the love of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Flora Pennington; and sister Janice Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Lloyd Rankin; sons Jason and Shane (Becky Quickle) Rankin; She was “Mamaw” to her grandkids Jenna, Brooklynne, and Jayden; she is also survived by her brother David (Carolyn) Pennington; sister Kay (Don) Irwin; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway where Rea’s funeral service will be held 10 AM Wednesday. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
