Becky enjoyed owning and operating The High Beck Tavern and Union Station Café with her husband Steve until 2006. At 48, Becky decided to use her degree in Human Relations and Family Development from OSU and spent the next 10 years as a Special Needs Paraprofessional with the Upper Arlington school district before retiring in 2017.
Becky loved traveling the world experiencing different cultures, visiting historic sites, and spending time on some of the best beaches of the Caribbean and Mexico. Becky was the best vacation planner and would have the reservations booked and days planned months before the trip. Her love of flower gardening was evident in every home she had over the years. She had quite the green thumb and was a great cook who enjoyed entertaining. Her husband often kidded that she treated the pets better than him.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her first-born Kathleen M. Armstrong, grandparents Taylor and Dorothy Turner and Michael and Marie Amman, and nephew John Turner.
Becky is survived by her husband of 37 years Steve, sons Michael and TJ (Ash and grandson Eddie), sisters Theresa (Kraig) and Joanna (Joe), brother Rick (Kelly), late father’s wife Barbara, aunt Marilyn, sister-in-law Leslie, in-laws Laura and Bob Armstrong, and numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
