Rebecca A. Bohlmann

Becky was born to Charles and Helen Ellwanger in Columbus, Ohio on August 27, 1945 and died on December 29, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Upper Arlington, after a very brief but heroic fight against the complications of recent radiation treatments. Becky married Mark Bohlmann, sharing their lives for 43 wonderful years. Becky's greatest joys were her children, Eric who sadly died in late 2014 and Jeffrey who now lives in Florida. Becky was an amazing Mom not only in her care and nurturing of her boys, but also her personal support for their friends, classmates and schools. In addition to Mark and Jeff she is survived by Jeff's son, Akaius; Becky's sisters, Anna LaBarre, and Deborah Archambeault; her brother, Michael Ellwanger and their families. Becky's parents and her brothers, Jeffrey Meisner and Joseph, precede her in death. Becky who attended Bishop Watterson High School and OSU worked as an Administrative Assistant for Lazarus, OSU and AIMS software. Memorials in Becky's name may be given to your favorite charity, or to Goodwill Columbus, YAS-West Additional Participant Activities 1331 Edgehill Rd, Columbus, OH 43213. A faithful Catholic, she was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Grandview which will celebrate her Funeral Mass on Friday January 5th at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. On Thursday the 4th a vigil will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. followed by a Rosary led by Msgr. John Cody.
