Reva Parker

Reva Parker, age 81, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Reva was born in Johnson County, Kentucky, on December 3, 1931, to the late Quince and Lessie (LeMaster) Trimble. Reva graduated from Stockdale High School, Class of 1949 and retired from the Ohio State Bank where she worked as the bookkeeping manager. Reva was a longtime member of the Reynoldsburg Church of Christ. Reva's family would describe her as a strong, patient and kind woman. She laughed a lot and enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also had a great love of animals, enjoyed listening to gospel music, and was a Cincinnati Reds and Buckeye fan. Reva will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Sandra Kay (Caron) Parker, Karen Sue (Robert) Twigg, Douglas Arthur (Chris) Parker, and Terri Lee (Jerry) Clark; grandchildren, Jennifer, Erika, Michael (Jackie), Robert Jr., Robyn (Bobby), David, Doug (Kristy), Joe (Kelly), Martha (Dan), Janie (Josh), Logan, Kristen, Alicia, Jamie, Alyvia, Taylor, Cole, Derek, and Colin; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Jillian, Clara, Landon, Madison, Ryleigh, Guin, RJ, and Olivia; sister, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy W. Parker and brothers, Walter, Bruce, Dave, Clarence and Whitey Trimble. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home where family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
