Rex Alan Thompson, age 45, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away on Aug. 14, 2024. He was born on Jan. 18, 1979 in Woodbridge, VA to Rex A. Thompson Sr. and Glema Jane Anderson. Rex joins in death his mother. He leaves behind his father; siblings Linda Greer, Michael Hunter, Crystal Hunter, Josh Thompson, Nick Thompson and Ray Dean. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Rex was very artistic, loved music and would tinker with mechanics and fix things. He was big baseball fan and loved the Cleveland Browns. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Sept 2, 2024 from 3PM to 5PM at Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will start at 5PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Rex’s name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
