

Richard "Dick" Lohr Harmer, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home after battling Lymphoma. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Dick was an active member of Calvary Bible Church for over 50 years. He was a retired licensed professional Electrical Engineer and faculty member of Franklin University. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Rose Catherine (Lohr) Harmer; children, Rosemary and Stephen Wesley Harmer; grandson, Randy Harmer and brother, Roland Harmer. He is survived by his loving wife, who would be celebrating their 69th anniversary on June 11th, F. Pauline (Downey) Harmer; children, Douglas (Laurie), David (Heidi), Luanne (Greg) Hacker, Paula (David) Lindsey and Lisa (Gary) Kennedy; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, John Harmer. Family will receive friends Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
