

Richard Paddock, 67, died August 3, 2015 at home. Mr. Paddock was born December 18, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to the late Eric C. and Elizabeth (Ireson) Paddock. He attended Pleasant View High School and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Traffic Engineering. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer during the Vietnam Conflict. He spent 32 years as an engineer for ODOT and ODPS before his retirement in 1997; that same year, he started his company, TSASS. As an avid rally racing and car enthusiast, he organized the Sunrise 400 Rally in southern Ohio for many years. His generosity to others was endless. He is survived by his wife, Tamara Paddock; daughters, Ashley (Paulus) Webb, Nicole (Loh) Webb; grandchildren, Ethan and Ian. Family will receive friends 4-6 pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, where a memorial service will begin at 6 pm.
