Richard graduated from the Licking Valley High School Class of 1975 and also from the Joint Vocational School. He then moved to Wisconsin where he served in the Peace Corp. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Druids in Newark. He collected knives and also enjoyed collecting and listening to old time country music. He enjoyed attending Licking Valley football games, and instead of watching the game, he would move about the crowd talking to people, which was a testament to his greatest love…….. people. He thrived on meeting new people and running into old friends. There wasn’t an event on the Court House Square or anywhere else within walking distance that he didn’t attend. He was loved by many and will be missed by many more. He was a fine son, brother, uncle and friend.
