Richard Wallin, age 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 3, 2013. He was born July 12, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ. Richard was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Bell Laboratories after 37 years of service. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Helmer and Carl Wallin; sister, Florence Dittrich; wife, Rose Wallin. Richard is survived by his loving Wife of 33 years Darlene Wallin; Daughter, Maria (Victor) Reincheld; Step-Children, Diana (Gary) Feliton, Dick (Cindy) Tracy, Steve (Deanne) Tracy; Grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Greg, Nick, David, Jared, Anya, Lauren, Lisa, Leanne; Great-Grandson, Gavin. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 8, 2013 at 2pm at the Schoedinger East Chapel 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Contributions may be made in Richard's name to the American Heart Association.
