Rita Elizabeth Green, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away September 1, 2012 at home. She was born November 26, 1927 in Akron, Ohio. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, John Green and a son, Kenneth Huston. She is survived by her beloved friend, Richard Garrabrant; her son, John Huston; sisters, Marlene Bell and Betty and RIchard Hodge; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Buttons. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E.
