Robert G. Best

Robert G. "Bob" Best, age 87, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015. He was born January 2, 1928 to the late David and Eunice (Kunselman) Best and is also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie Best and brother, David Best. Bob is survived by his daughter, Gretchen (Walter) Sutterlin; son, William (Jennifer) Best; grandchildren, Joshua (Kim) and Robert Sutterlin, Jackie and Brandon Best; and brother, John (Jorene) Best. Bob was a US Army Veteran. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1948 with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Bob was the Chief Engineer at Thurman Scale Company for 30 years. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 3 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, where friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
