Robert L. “Bob” Canter, age 70, of Columbus, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a truck driver for 46 years, retiring from Yellow Roadway Corp., with 22 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Canter; brother, Jube Canter; son, Dennis (Melissa) Canter; daughters, Bonnie Rush and Robin (Robert) Adams; son, Robert Canter, Jr.; step-children, Greg, Vicky, and Robert Thompson; numerous grandchildren and other relatives. Friends will be received from 1-3:00 p.m. and 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 and one hour prior to the service at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.
