Robert "Polar" Cornette

Robert "Polar" Cornette Jr, age 45 of Columbus passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident Thursday, August1, 2019. He was employed as a truck driver for Liberty Tires. Polar was a proud member of the Avengers Motorcycle Club and the 40 and 8 Club in Lancaster. Polar was a gifted tattoo artist and could draw anything. He was a teddy bear with a heart of gold but would always let you know who the boss was. He also was very talented craftsman and could build anything. His family and friends meant everything to him. Polar is survived by his wife Tiffany; son Zach (Kayla); daughter Marley Benedict; parents Robert and Deborah; sister Tennille Cornette- Gentry; grandchildren Kambree, Keilee, and Zachary II; step-children Drake, Jamison, Peyton, and Carter McGhee. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday August 9 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway where his funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
