Robert F. Decker

Robert F. Decker, DDS, age 83, of Upper Arlington, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 in peace and calm at his home with family. He was born January 29, 1932 in Bellaire, OH, son of the late Robert W. and Blandina (Geary) Decker. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, and will always be honored by his wife of 60 years, Betty (Duvall) Decker; his children, Jeff (Jennifer) Decker, Orlando, FL and Lisa (Brian) MacClugage, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Jonathan and Christina MacClugage; and his brother, Thomas Decker, Pompano Beach, FL. He will be dearly missed by his family, including nephew Thomas J. Decker, Wheeling, WV; brothers-in-law, Donald (Lois), James (Jackie) and Richard Duvall; sister-in-law, Linda (William) Ney; many nieces and nephews and many close friends. Bob was a 1949 graduate of Bellaire High School. He attended Bethany College and graduated from Otterbein College. Bob was a patriotic American and served in the Air Force before attending The Ohio State University School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Upper Arlington for 45 years. He also was a clinical instructor at the OSU College of Dentistry. Bob was a longtime member of Northwest Kiwanis Club, where he was a dedicated volunteer, working with the soccer and other programs for many years. Friends may call 5-8 pm Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Weist Room at FIRST COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1320 Cambridge Blvd. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, October 18, 2015 at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., with Rev.
