

Robert “Robbie” Ray Edstrom, age 70, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the love of his life, Annette Edstrom; sons, Shane, Blake, Daniel and Pierce, daughters-in-law and 12 beloved grandchildren. Also survived by sister Gena; brothers, Theodore and John; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Robbie was a 1971 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, where he played football and was on the track and field team. He still holds the school record for the pole vault at 14’1” and is still the fourth highest in high schools in Ohio. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1974-1978 during Vietnam. He was forever an avid fan of the Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He loved all types of music and always picked the perfect song. Robbie never met a stranger and embraced everyone with his “big bear hug”. He greeted everyone with a smile and “Nice to see you”. Robbie was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3261. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Chalmers Wylie VA Outpatient Clinic for the wonderful care given to Robbie.
