He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Betty Garrett; his brother, Donald Garrett; and his sister, Brenda Garrett (Fisher)
Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice Garrett; his son, Robert (Debbie) Garrett; his daughter, Jeannie (Steve) Prince; his grandson, Ethan (Kelsey) Whalen; his granddaughters, Jessica and Natalie Garrett; his great-granddaughters, Ellie and Addie Whalen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert was devoted to his family and was an active member of his church. He had a lifelong interest in hot rods and six-cylinder engines and enjoyed sharing that passion with others.
He will be remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at New Testament Christian Church, 4481 E Dublin Granville Rd, Westerville, OH 43081, US, on July 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
