Robert Lee Golden

Robert Lee Golden Jr., 87, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 10, 2016. He was born June 7, 1928 in Columbus, to the late Robert Sr. and Eva (Hampton) Golden; also preceded in death by his siblings, Roberta, Glen and Geraldine, and his first wife, Norma Jeanne. Bob was an electrician and retired from IBEW-Local #683. He also retired from Turnberry Golf Course following 10 years of service. Bob enjoyed golfing, building and flying model airplanes, and was an avid Buckeye fan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Cynthia C. Golden; children, Beverly Denney, Gail (Daniel) Koza, Gary (Robbin) Golden and Kristine Williams; grandchildren, Brad, Christy, Scott, Steve, Shawn, Jesse, Heather, Wade and Kale; 17 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. Friends and family may visit Bob's "Celebration of Life" open house between the hours of 6-9 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Blacklick Woods Golf Course banquet room, 7309 E. Livingston Ave., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. Feel free to bring pictures and special memories to share. Cremation services entrusted to Schoedinger East Chapel.
