Robert Louis Hardin

Robert L. "Bob" Hardin, age 67, of Columbus, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Doctors West Hospital. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and a retired truck driver. Bob was an avid reader and animal lover. He will be remembered by his strong work ethic and sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Creda and William Hardin, brothers, Larry and William Hardin; beloved dogs, Paw, Precious, and Baer. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; son, Robert A. (Amanda) Hardin; grandson, Robert Jackson Hardin; brother, Fred (Eunice) Hardin; "son", Donald P. Fletcher; "brother", Ed Herring; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 West Broad Street, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service; interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
