Robert “G.B.” Jones, age 59 previously of south Florida, currently of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Bobby was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, son of Vivian Ellis and the late Howard Jones. Bobby was a very friendly man who was outgoing and fun to be around. He was the type of person that would know everything about someone five minutes after meeting them. He was a golf enthusiast and also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing euchre. He will be missed by his sons, Scott and Matthew Jones; fiancée, Linda Fox; mother, Vivian Ellis; brother, Alan Jones; sister, Susan Calabrese; and many other extended family members and dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until time of service.
