Robert C. Jones

Robert C. Jones age 71 of Lancaster passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 of natural causes at The Arbors at Stow in Stow Ohio. Bob was born March 9, 1954 in Lancaster to the late Charles and Betty Jones Griffin. Bob graduated from Lancaster High School class of 1972 and from Ohio University class of 1976. His working life was spent in sporting goods and golf club manufacturing sales. His spare time was spent golfing and following his OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Bob never met a stranger. His cheerful demeanor and hilarious sense of humor will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Charles Griffin; and grandparents, Ivan and Thelma Bender. He is survived by close friends, Corey and Karen Estabrook, Bill Betz of Columbus, Robb Wolfley, Mark Renard, Bob Lewis, Pat McGonagle, Martin Welsh, and Greg Hampshire of Lancaster. Services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, June 19th at Schoedinger East 5360 E Livingston Ave in Columbus with burial following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster.
