Robert L. "Bob" Kress

Robert L. “Bob” Kress, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was born on October 18, 1943 to the late Lawrence E. and Catherine E Kress. He is also joins his wife Jean Kress, who passed away on May 24, 1999.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory is his devoted daughter Tanya Corbett; his loving companion of 22 years, Lee Thibaut; sister Susan (David) Dorsch; nephew Thomas Jason Bryant; three great-nephews and one great niece; his grandson Elijah Daux; and Lee’s daughter and Elijah’s parents: Angela (Ainsley Daux) Thibaut.

A veteran of the United States Army, Bob proudly served from 1961 to 1968. He retired from Timken Roller Bearing after many dedicated years of service. Bob was a self-employed subcontractor, or a “man of all trades”, with his business T&J Co. A member of Radnor United Church of Christ, Bob enjoyed his post retirement job at Walmart in Delaware.

Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.

His Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday February 8, 2021 at Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends from 10am to 12 Noon. His funeral service will be livestreamed at www.schoedinger.com. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
