Robert Amelio Mativi

Robert Amelio Mativi, age 81 of Dublin, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. Bob was born in North Adams, Massachusetts, son of the late Amelio and Delia Mativi. Also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Mativi. Bob graduated from the Cranwell Academy where he played football. He later proudly served his country in the US Army. In 1969 Bob started Mid-State Sales, Inc., a company manufacturing hose and fittings. He worked as CEO of the company spanning four branches. Bob was also Past President of Weatherhead Advisory Group. Bob was a vibrant, kind and loving man who was always the center of any party. He enjoyed playing golf, piano, and liked the Wall Street Journal and puzzles. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Miyoung Mativi; daughters, Donna Mativi, Lisa (Ian Sudol) Mativi, and Jennifer Lee Draper; grandchildren, Nick (Cat) Halterman, Brittany Marie Mativi, and Blythe, Braden, Blake and Berlyn Neese; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a service celebrating Bob's life will begin at 5 P.M. Guests are respectfully required to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure the safety of guests. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 7949 Worthington Galena Rd, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
