Robert W. Nosker

Robert Wayne Nosker, age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011. He was born in Columbus on July 9, 1917, to the late Robert and Leona Nosker, and was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. Robert was a Buckeye fan, and he loved to watch all sports. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and he served as a Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts leader for many years. He was a member of the OSU Dairy Technology Society, and he retired from sales in the dairy industry. Robert was also a member of the Free & Accepted Masons of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Nosker. Robert is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 69 years, Jean Nosker; children, Robert (Sharon) Nosker, Dave (George Ann) Nosker, and Midge Sazima; grandchildren, Christy, Kim, Michelle, Michael, Nichole, and Kelly; and great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Carson, Nicole, and Hannah. A memorial service in honor of Robert will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Dublin Retirement Village, 6470 Post Road, Dublin. Inurnment at Green Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
