Robert Jordan Smith

Robert Jordan Smith, age 83, died on Sunday July 28, 2013, from congestive heart failure at home. He is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Ruth Smith, and brother Richard Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dolores, daughters; Cynthia (Paul) Susan, Christine (Warren) Wilcox, Laurie (Patrick) Connole, grandchildren; Megan (Christopher) Weiss, Grace (Ben) Newsome, David (Kait) Susan, Robert Wilcox, Amanda Wilcox, Alexandra Connole, Anna Connole, and 3 great grandchildren. Robert was in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He attended OSU and CCAD. Robert retired from Rockwell International as a Graphic Artist after 32 years of faithful service. He was a valuable member of Glenwood United Methodist Church, helping on the Wednesday morning work crew, a past member of the Hilltop Kiwanis, and a volunteer at Mt. Carmel Hospital for the past 7 years, and Habitat for Humanity. He was also a portrait artist and still has landscape paintings selling in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 5-8pm at Glenwood United Methodist Church 2833 Valleyview Dr. Columbus, OH 43204 where funeral service will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 11 am with Rev.
