Robert W. Southworth

Bob was a graduate of West H.S. Bob married Sue Severns on September 18, 1955. He began his career as an insurance broker in April, 1968. He received a Chartered Life Underwriters Degree in 1975 and a Chartered Financial Degree from the American College in 1983.

He was past member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Agent Association of Advanced Underwriters. Past President of Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company Agents Advisory Council.

Current member of the Riverside United Methodist Church and the Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin, OH. Past Board Member of the American Cancer Society Franklin County Unit and the organizer of the special cancer fund raising event called "Circle the Wagons".

His love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding his cutting horses with all the family members provided hours of pleasure and priceless memories.

Bob will be missed by his wife, Sue Southworth; sons, Mark (Kathy) Southworth and their daughters, Monica and Katlin; Kenneth (Jennifer) Southworth and their son, Clint; Trent (Alisha) Southworth and their sons, Cole and Connor; and Brett (Jenny) Southworth and their children, Jacob, Gavin, Grant, and Ella; sister, Saundra Meeder; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270). The Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Riverside United Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Rd., Upper Arlington, Rev. David Griebner officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
