Robert Mitchell Stephens, 72 of Columbus, died Monday, July 15, 2013. He was born December 4, 1940 in Columbus to the late Robert and Fae (Assenheimer) Stephens. He was a graduate of Central High School and a salesman. He was a member of Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed spreading sunshine. He is preceded in death by brother-in-law Ed Mieczkowski. He is survived by his wife Julia (Dotson) Stephens, children Terri, Brian, Shane (Sheila), Cindy (Matt) and Courtney, siblings Mark (Erin) Stephens, Billy Stephens and Linda Mieczkowski, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
