Robert A. Swank

He was formerly employed with VIPCO and was currently retired. Bob’s passions were fishing, watching OSU football, and spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a stern man but very supportive, loving, and caring to his family; doing whatever he could to help them.

Preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Phyllis. Bob will be missed by his loving wife of 23 years, Margaret; son, Bobby (Deona) Swank; daughters, Charlee Brasseur, and Nicole Swank (fiancé, Tim Collins); 7 grandchildren; sister, Kay Stoyle (Jim, deceased); and brothers, Dale (Betty) Swank and Steve (Teresa) Swank.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and again Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Pastor. David E. Swaggerty, officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
