

Bob was born in Columbus on February 22, 1945 to the late Robert and Mildred Capretta Yinger.
Surviving Bob are his wife of 53 years, Martha Yinger; children Kathleen Klosterman (Guy) and Michael (Maegan) Yinger; brothers Dave Yinger, Mark (Cyndi) Yinger, and Steve (Sandy) Yinger; sisters Ann Yinger and Tina (Joe) Hermiz; grandchildren Kayla (Andy), Courtney, Major and Blaise; and great-grandchildren Aurora and Emery.
Bob was preceded in death by sister Sue Yinger and sister-in-law Angela Yinger.
A graduate of Linden McKinley High School, Bob was a dedicated employee of Yenkin Majestic and Honda Motor Companies. Bob cherished three things in life: His family, sports and fishing. He would often be seen attending sporting events, dancing to oldies, fishing for catfish, and watching the Indians, Browns, and Buckeyes from the comfort of his recliner.
Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In his life, Bob exemplified a genuine kindness, an unshakable mental toughness and a resounding competitive spirit. His legacy will live on in the hearts of many, as will the memorable stories his family and friends will continue to share.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 Monday, November 15, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State St., Westerville, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 10:30 am. Father Jonathan Wilson, Celebrant. Family and friends may also gather at St. Paul from 9:30-10:30 before Tuesday’s service. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
