Roberta "Bobbie" L. Baxter

morning of Monday, November 15, 2021.

Bobbie was born in Toledo, Ohio to George and Thelma Abdelnour on October 6, 1943

and was the eldest of four siblings with whom she shared a strong lifelong bond. She

graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo, Ohio. Bobbie married Jack Baxter on

June 19, 1965 and together they raised three sons. She worked as an administrative

assistant at Anthony Wayne High School and was an active member of Community of

Christ Lutheran Church in Whitehouse. Jack and Bobbie owned and operated The

Hideaway Resort in Mercer, WI for the past 25 years. Her family was her most precious

gift and she adored her grandchildren. Bobbie will be dearly missed and always

remembered for her upbeat joyful personality and selfless giving.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack; sons, Jeff, Tim (Shannon), and

Dave (Julie) Baxter; siblings, Christine McDermott, Douglas (Deb) Abdelnour, and Lisa

(Chris) Fernald and her loving mother, Thelma Abdelnour. Bobbie was a devoted

grandma to her 7 grandchildren; Jacob, Caleb, Elizabeth, Charles, Jack, Kate, and Ben

and special aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her

father, George Abdelnour and brother-in-law, Dennis McDermott.

A private memorial service will be held on November 26, 2021 at Schoedinger Funeral

Home in Gahanna, OH. In lieu of flowers, Bobbie requested donations be made in her

memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or Community of

Christ Lutheran Church at www.commofchrist.org.
