Rodney Dale Gibson

Rodney D. Gibson Sr., age 68, passed away on May 7, 2018 at St. Ann's Hospital from complications of a stroke. He was born October 4, 1949 in Fayette County, W.Va. He was the past owner of Rodney's Auto Sales, Columbus, OH. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Darrell and Irene Gibson; daughter-in-law, Nancy Gibson; and Grandson, Travis Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; Sons, Rodney, Jr. (Debbie) and Rick (Shelley), Step-Children, Christie (Nic); Amanda, and Steven (Brittany); brothers, Larry, Bo, and Bobby (Linda); Sisters, Betty, Patty, Donna, Penny (Kent) and Amy (Brian); 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am Friday, May 11, 2018. Pastor Dave Liuzzo officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, OH to immediately follow service.
