Roger S. Ebert, Jr., 48, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2012 from a brain aneurysm. He was born in Wrightstown, New Jersey on November 25, 1964. Roger was a good man. He was loved by many. He always put other people before himself. His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation. No son loved his mother as much as Roger. He would do anything for her, as she would for him. The two were inseparable, even in his final hours. “There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and a son”. He is survived by his beloved son, Tyler Ebert of Columbus; daughter, Crystal (Bobby) Harper of West Jefferson; loving mother, Hope (Dan) Bunting of Columbus; loving father, Roger S. Ebert, Sr. of Whitehall; siblings, Karen (Randy) Burlew of Westerville, David (Tina) Penwell of Hilliard, and Mary (William) Meier of Grove City; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to the staff in Neuro Critical Care at Riverside Hospital. We will never forget your compassion. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City.
