Roger L Palmer

Roger L. Palmer, 72, of Ashville, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Regency Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 5, 1940 in Pataskala, the son of Thomas T. and Mabel R. (Hardy) Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers. He was a 1959 graduate of Watkins High School and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army. He was retired from Meijers where he had been a produce manager. Roger was a member of the Moose Lodge and loved riding his Harley with the Moose Riders. He also enjoyed serving as an usher at World Harvest Church prior to his illness. Roger is survived by the special people in his life, Jeff & Monie Graves, David Lee Gordon, Jeremy & Heather Armentrout, Christopher Armentrout, Barbara Bukey and family; and his beloved “grandchildren” Jordan, Abby, Dylan, Adam and Ashleigh.
