Roger Lynn Parrish

Roger Lynn Parrish, 66, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. He was born February 18, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late John and Alberta (Hawthorne) Parrish. He was a proud U. S. Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Roger was a strong believer in God, Family and Country. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Perry Parrish (Pamela-surviving) of Cadiz, O. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ruth Ann Parrish; son, Dakota Lynn Parrish; brothers; David Parrish (Dianna) of Cadiz, OH; Gary Parrish (Greta) of Cambridge, OH and Craig Parrish (Diane) of Willard, NC; sister Barbara Grandy of Watha, NC and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
