

A graveside service, to celebrate the life of Ronald L. Bole, 72 of Newark, will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Mark Katrick officiating. Visitation will be held at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Sunday from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Ronald was born in Newark on August 31, 1939 to the late Bernard Bole and Twila (Wolfe) Bole of Newark. He passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2012 while surrounded by his family.
Ronald graduated from Jacksontown High School. Prior to retirement, he was an electrician with Walker Manufacturing and Arvin-Meritor for many years. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and was a member of the Fink’s Harley Davidson V.I.P. Club. He enjoyed flint hunting, working outdoors, crossword puzzles, hunting, watching hunting shows and was a former avid weight lifter. Most important in his life was his loving family. He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Susan K. (Lovelady) Bole, whom he married on July 7, 2006; children, Debra (Dennis) Ridgeway, Ronald L. (Donea) Bole and Shelly (Travis) Moore; step-children, Jessica Leach and Miranda England; grandchildren, Jason Ridgeway, Jennifer Purdy, Austin Negele, Brook-Lynn Bole, Tanner Redman, Jonathan Leach and Josalyn Leach; great grandchildren, Evan Ridgeway and Addison Purdy; sister, Judith (Dale) Hoskinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his previous wife, Linda (Sex) Bole; and son, Rickie Bole.
