Ronald Albert Butler, age 67, passed away September 19th, 2017. Ron was born in Columbus, OH to the late Ralph and Irene Butler. Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laura; his son Brian, his wife Krista and their daughter Adeline; and their son Kevin, his wife Sarah, and their 3 daughters - Bailey, Emma, Nora.
Ron grew up in Newark, Ohio, graduating from Newark High School in 1968 and later earning a Bachelors of Art degree from Otterbein College. He was a Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War era.
Ron worked for nearly 40 years as a Health care field service engineer.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm Monday, September 25th, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 High St. Worthington, OH, where a Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at 10:30 am. Pastor Morrison will be officiating. Burial will take place following services at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428, at 2:00 pm.
