Ronald W. Kennedy, age 66, of Columbus, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Sanders Kennedy; children, Ronny Casey, Paul (Emma) Sanders, Andre Kennedy, Lorenzo Sanders, Karen Sanders, and Sheila (Vincent) Smithers; grandchildren, Mark Leonard, and Jimmy Smithers, Robin, Moka, and Angie Sanders; great grandchildren, Keynni, Daquan, Shay Marie, Damarion, and Danesha Sanders, and Ronny Casey, Jr.; niece, Antionette Kennedy, many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where friends will be received one hour prior to the service (after 1:00 p.m. Thursday).
