Ronald Stanley Ohsner

Ronald S. Ohsner, born April 15th, 1949, passed away June 4th, 2018. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence S. "Red" Ohsner; and his mother, Lulu B. Ohsner. Survived by his wife, Molly James Ohsner; his daughter, Kelly (Chad) Ohsner Davie; his son, John (Jessica) Ohsner; his sister, Sally Ohsner Robinson; his grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Marlo, and Vivian Davie and James Ohsner. He graduated from Whetstone High School and received both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The Ohio State University and a paralegal degree from Capital University. He was a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and a Chartered Life Underwriter. He specialized in advanced insurance coverages for professionals and later sold his business. He was a life-long member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church, a member of Scioto Country Club and played golf at The Ohio State University where he was also a fraternity brother at Delta Tau Delta. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 7 W. Henderson Rd. Columbus, OH 43214. In lieu of flowers make donations to Maple Grove United Methodist Church.
