Ronald G. Rickey, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Sept. 13, 2026. He was born on Jan. 12, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ronald Sr. and Phyllis (Butler) Rickey. Ronald joins in death his nephew Josh Dick. He leaves behind his siblings Lisa (David) Farquhar, Rhonda (David) Dick and Tony Rickey. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews who included Nicloe Farquhar, Matthew Farquhar, Nicholas Farquhar, Rachel (Christian) Keller, great nieces Reese Keller and Harper Keller along with extended family members and friends. Ronald loved his dogs Aeriel, Toby and Teddy. Visitation will be held on Monday Sept. 21, 2026 from 11AM to 12PM with the funeral service starting at 12PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel and burial will follow in Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Ronald’s name to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
