Ronald E. Woodyard

Ronald E. Woodyard, age 74, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 07, 2009. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church in New Albany. Ron worked for Techniglass for 47 years and most recently enjoyed working for the New Albany Parks and Recs as a concessions co-coordinator. Although Ron enjoyed golfing, his winter months in Florida and the Ohio State Buckeyes, nothing was more important to him than his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; daughter, Peggy (Roger) Williams and their children, Jennifer (Brian) Williams-Cook and Ryan Williams; son, Ron, Jr. (Tracy) Woodyard and their children, Derek and Jenna Woodyard; son, Tim (Kim) Woodyard and their children, Lynsey and Lauryn Woodyard; daughter, Terri (Jerry) Steege and their children Jared, Tyler and Cody Steege; stepsister, Nora Riggin; stepbrother, George (Mary) Edinger; half sister, Karen (Terry) Mitchell; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, “Dude” and Jeanette Edinger Reed. Family will receive friends 4-8pm Monday, November 9, 2009 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E.
