Roy Neal Woods, age 61, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his home. He was born September 5, 1955 in Louisville, KY to the late Eugene Woods and Betty Penn Woods Dickenson, and is also preceded in death by his step-father, John Dickenson. Roy is survived by numerous siblings, extended family and friends. Roy never knew a stranger and was known as the "Honorary Mayor of Blacklick." He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Jefferson Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roy's memory to Lifeline of Ohio, 770 Kinnear Road, #200, Columbus, Ohio 43212.
