Ruby Richardson, age 68, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was born on April 21, 1942 in Jonancy, Kentucky to the late Earl and Maggie Compton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Leo Richardson; brothers, Raymond and Edward Compton; and sister, Marie Anderson. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Richardson; grandchildren, Michael and Shaun Richardson, and Haley Reedy; brothers, Lilburn, Robert K., and Bill Compton; sisters, Irene Dyer, Julia Bell Newsome, Virginia Dyer, Della Tackett, and Bertha Estep; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 5:00PM-7:00PM and Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER CLEVELAND AVE CHAPEL 2741 Cleveland Ave. where the funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
