Russell Lee Dawson, age 42, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 11, 2014 at his home. He is survived by father and step-mother, Calvin and Barbara Dawson; mother and step-father, Brenda and Walter Pope; sister, Lora; brother, Dwayne; niece, Amanda; nephew, Jason; along with aunts and uncles. Russell is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Charles and Gladys Dawson and maternal grandparents, Lora Mae Turner. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 4-8pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held 10am Friday, April 18, 2014. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester.
