The best way to describe Rusty would be a Native American, riding a Harley, going fishing. Rusty was a Janitor for the Gahanna City School District for 21 years.

Rusty is preceded in death by his father.

Rusty is survived by his daughter, Heidi Hulet-Darst, sons, "Jamie" Russell Garner and Daniel Garner; daughter-in-law, Christina Garner; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mariah, and Damien Darst, Kylie Lefever, and Brendon Fannin; sister Linda (Ed) McQueary; niece, Holly Walker; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends, Saturday April 22, 2017 from 1-2pm at the Faith Bible Church, 12239 Morse Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062, where a service will begin at 2pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Jefferson Township Cemetery.
