Russell Spencer

Russell Spencer, age 91, passed away peacefully December 15, 2017. He is predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years; Helen Spencer, daughter; MaryAnn Baker, parents; Leo and Margaret Spencer, sibling; Kenny Spencer. He is survived by his brother Earl (Sally) Spencer, Daughter; Gerri (Robert) Mills, Grandchildren; Michele (Baxter) Fullerton, Cheryl Mills and John Battaglia, Pamela (Bill) Wiley, Michael Mills, Scott Baird and Julianne (Shawn) Lee, 6 great-grandsons, 8 great-great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was a member of VFW Post 4719 Gahanna, The American Legion Lodge 797 Gahanna and Holy Cross Orthodox Mission. Russell was passionate about many things in life including hunting and fishing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Russell's memory to Holy Cross Orthodox Mission. Friends and family may call Wednesday December 20, 2017 from 10am to 11am at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Columbus OH 43229. A funeral service will directly follow at 11am, graveside services at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center OH.
