Ruth was thoughtful and caring. She was also a wonderful teacher of life and had wisdom to offer to anyone in need. She invited girls into her home and taught them social grace, helped them get jobs and make a good life. She was a wonderful cook and made Sunday dinners for family and friends for over forty years. She had the ability to make everyone feel welcome and was the queen of hospitality. Ruth enjoyed life, learning and, fun. Early in life it was dancing the jitterbug and wrestling with dad; then raising her four children. Mom loved to travel. She would drag our Dad on trips and cruises trying to see the world and making friends along the way. She was an avid Buckeye Fan and attended many bowl games. Mom loved to learn and a dictionary was always within reach. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed plays, bowling, card club and all things fun.
