

A graduate of Marshall University, she taught school in Sarasota County, Florida. Her love of Sarasota followed her through her life.
She had a passion for animals, with a special love of anything related to dogs, enjoyed traveling, especially to her paradise, Siesta Key, Florida, was avidly involved in genealogy, any art or craft and was a huge Ohio State fan, attending football and basketball games for years. Ruth had a decades-long friendship with faculty and students of the Endodontic Department of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by siblings Harry Berger, Doris Davis, Fay Lee Ryland, Myrtle Wray Miller, Frances Czeskleba and Arthur Berger.
She is survived in death by her husband Of 62 years, William (Bill) Meyers; daughter, Amy Meryers; special nephews H. Michael Czeskleba, Scott Czeskleba, James Berger and loving family friend Debbie Vagnier.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, Columbus Humane, Kobacker House or the charity of your choice.
Internment took place at Union Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
