Ruthalee Semones Jones

Ruthalee Semones Jones, age 89, of Worthington, passed away on Saturday, June 29 2013. She was born to the late Louis C. and Ruie E. Semones on September 10, 1923 in New Boston, OH. Ruth was a sweet and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was a wonderful caring person and her family was always first. Ruth was also a longtime member of Worthington Christian Church, where she loved travelling with her church group, Young at Heart. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman L. Jones; granddaughter, Cheryl Davis; daughter-in-law, Linda Jones; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her loving children, Larry (Gale) Jones, Carole (Philip) Davis, Robert "Bob" Jones, and Jan (Paul) Williams; sister, Wilma (Joe) Holbrook; 7 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends may call from 4 pm-7 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High St., Worthington, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. David Roberson and Dr. Marshall Hayden officiating. Interment to follow at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike Rd., Wheelersburg, OH 45694.
