Sally Ohsner Robinson

Rev. Sally Ohsner Robinson, born April 23rd, 1947, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Preceded in death by her father, Clarence S. “Red” Ohsner; her mother, Lulu B. Ohsner; and her brother Ronald Ohsner.

Survived by her sister-in-law, Molly James Ohsner; her niece Kelly (Chad) Ohsner Davie; her nephew John (Jessica) Ohsner; her great nieces and nephews, Gwendolyn, Marlo, Vivian, James and Jacob; her beloved Irish Setter, Meeghen.

Sally grew up in Clintonville, Ohio and attended Maple Grove United Methodist Church.

Sally graduated from Whetstone High School in 1965 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in 1969. She spent 13 years working in the advertising industry both in Chicago and Detroit.

In 1985, Sally received her Masters of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She became an ordained minister in the Shenandoah Presbytery in Virginia.

In 2016, Sally transferred to the Presbytery of Scioto Valley in Ohio to be closer to her family.

In 2017, Sally was elected as the Stated Clerk for the Presbytery of Scioto Valley.

Sally has served over 20 different churches as an interim pastor in Virginia and Ohio.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
