Sam is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra; his mother, Madeline; children, Laura Boursinos, Deborah Talbot, and Dan (Jodie) Ragland; grandchildren, Tiffany (Smith) Dixon, Nick Boursinos, Samantha and Katharine Talbot, Meghan, Coy and Avery Ragland; sister, Virginia (Ulrich) Carver. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Benton Ragland, Sr.
Sam was retired from the banking industry and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was a proud Army veteran, an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and took special pride in photographing his grandchildren.
An inurnment will occur at a later date in Fort Benton, Montana.
